A displacement sensor integrated with the device could provide real time information about in-vivo conditions, power and data transmission through radio frequency communication, RF is to be implanted to gauge the in vivo conditions without employing any invasive diagnostic procedures.
We have proposed the development of an integrated coronary stent system that couples treatment with monitoring functionalities. This system will have the capability of providing real time diagnosis for arterial stenosis in asymptomatic patients.
